1) Muthanga and Tholpetty wildlifee sancturies are opened (online booking www.wayanadwildlifesanctuary.com)

2)Edakkal cave is opend (Maximum admitted numbers 1920 a day)

3) soochippara water fall is opend (Max 500 visitors a day)

4) Kuruva island is closed (400 visitors a day 200 each at both entries) Contact Forest 04936-245180  , DMC manager 9447545617)

5) chembra peak is opened (maximum 75-85 numbers a day) entry time 7 am to 12 noon). Trek to chembra only half way (upto lake) trek to top is restricted . keep your phone off when lightning.there will be leeches during rainy season

6) Weekends and Holidays willbe crowded in wayanad

7) Pakshipathalam trek is closed .Banasura and Brahmagiri hilla are opened

8)Students may get  concession ,if they submit official letter from school

9) some destinations may be closed during heavy rains, fire or any other reasons
