Chembra peak

Highest peak (2100 meters) in Wayanad, blessed with a heart-shaped small lake on the top: entry 7. a.m. to 12 p.m.; fee Rs 4000( up to 5 Indians); Rs.8000 (up to 5 foreigners) Additional indians 800 / foreigners 1600 this trek is allowed up to lake / half way. Only 85 visitors a day.

Brahmagiri hill

Brahmagiri hill (1800 meters ) is near Thirunelly temple at north Wayanad. Entry fee R. S 3500 up to 5 ( indians) / R. S 7500 up to 5 (Foreigners ) Entry time 8 am to 9.30 am

Kattu kunnu / Ana chola Trekking (banasura)

This trek is near Banasura hill. Entry fee R. S 4000 ( up to 5 Indians ), additional 650/ R. S 7000 ( up to 5 foreigners ) additional 1250. Entry time 7. 30 am to 11 am. Maximum 75 pax a day

16 kilometers walk

It’s a full day walk through tea plantation, forest, which offers waterfall, view point, tea processes, wildlife and many birds near Wayanad border. Starting time 7.30 / 8 am. Entry fee 1000 each, approved guide 3500

Cheengeri hill

It’s a small trek(3460 feet), near Ambalavayal, which offers sunrise and a beautiful view. Entry 50 each. Entry time 5.30 am to 6 pm

Kolagappara hills

It’s a medium trek near Meenagadi, which offers a beautiful view. No entry fee

Vellarimala Trek
Long trek through dense forest; advance permission is required.( partly closed)

Wild Life Trekking
4-5 hours trek inside the wild life sanctuaries; (it’s partly closed )
